I have always liked going to San Francisco. My first memory of the city is from a trip with my Girl Scout troop in elementary school. Since then, it has been the only big city I have wanted to go back to again & again. So naturaly, I had to check out their music festival, Outside Lands!

For the Miss Santa Monica pageant I knew I wanted to make a dress for my interview. I love being able to share something that is so important to me with the judges! So as soon as I signed up, I went to Alamitos Bay Yarn Company & picked out a few balls of Sirdar Baby Bamboo Dk in the color Poppy!

When I was younger I learned how to knit with my Girl Scout troop. We went to the mountains & spent the whole weekend making, or trying to make, scarfs & ear warmers. Like most skills that go unused, I eventually forgot how.
It was not until February of 2016 that I decided to try my hand at fiber arts once again. I had seen a few photos of a granny square cardigan on Facebook & thought I would give one a try. When I was in High School I took a video production class called Griffin News. Each week we would create, film, edit, & broadcast our show to the school. Being apart of that class helped me to discover my love of film. I had so much fun hosting different segments & editing the clips, always making sure they fit perfectly with music.
For some time now I have wanted to get back into making videos. I learned to crochet mainly on YouTube, so I figured that would be the perfect place for me to start! As a beginning crocheter, I had a hard time finding videos that showed things I actually wanted to make. My goal with this channel is to share what I consider the fundamentals of crochet, inspiration & execution.
I am excited to announce that I have officially launched my YouTube Channel! My first video shows some of my favorite things to make & I cant wait to teach you how!
Please subscribe to my channel & comment what else you would like to learn & see!
I also want to give a special thanks to Ariel Vega of Ari Films for helping me start on this new journey. I couldn’t have done it without you.
